Formally, the group originated in 2006, Kaliningrad, Russian Federation. The primary staff included 3 musicians. At first they played mainly instrumental music. The early works could be characterized as a variation of "fusion". Later on the band was enriched by the addition of the wind section(flute, saxophone) and vocal. In present time the staff of the collective can vary from 4 members to 7 participants. DOCTOR GONZO likes to experiment with new musical forms and arrangement. Thats why the band defines its own style as a mixture of "fusion" and "post-rock". The group believes that these two types of music present the most successful and flexible combinaton of different musical elements. Winners of Kaliningrad in Rock 2009 music contest. Participants of the Baltic Youth Festival (Karlshamn, SWE)
