Aspen is a perfomance name of Bevan Smith, used when making electronica. Aspen music is influenced by electro pop from the 80's and early Warp and Rephlex records material, say early 90's. Bevan took a break from making Aspen music in 2001 and has since been concentrating on collaborative efforts, Over the Atlantic and Skallander and the more guitar/song-based material of Signer. Aspen's latest album, isn't it about time you thought about something more than what makes you happy?, was released in 2007. http://aspen.bandcamp.com
