A British pioneer of Electronic Music (real name: Brian Hibbert)

Originally hailing from south Louisiana, Peters now lives in Nashville, TN where he is a Christian singer-songwriter. Peters got his start in the acoustic duet Ridgely, touring from 1993-99 and building a respectable grassroots/college following. Ridgely released two albums, The Only Thing (1997), Ridgely EP (1995).

Peters has released six solo albums: More Than Watchmen (1999), Land of the Living (2001), Miracle of Forgetting (2003), Bookmark (2004), Scarce (2006), and most recently Chrome (2009).

Coming from a jazz and skiffle background with an electronic engineering qualification, Peters (real name: Brian Hibbert) first pieces were produced for Chappell Music in the 1960's using home made equipment and modified traditional instruments. He has gathered a number of high profile fans in recent times notably Luke Vibert and Barry 7 from Add N to X who have included his music on compilation albums. He continues to produce music to this day.
