João Dias [BR] is a forgotten, once-profilic Brazilian singer born on October 12, 1927 in Campinas, State of São Paulo. He was an active recording and performing artist from the early 1950s throughout the late 1980s. His repertoire consisted of songs in a variety of styles, such as MPB, bossa nova, samba, samba-canção, baião, habanera, bolero, salsa, foxtrot and tango. From the late 1960s, he kept on with the trends and recorded songs by Erasmo Carlos with instrumentation not unlike other tropicalia artists. During the 1970s he also recorded songs in funk and soul style. He passed on November 27, 1996 in Rio de Janeiro, RJ.

With a degree in classical guitar and a master's degree in music teaching, he is now looking for a career on the stages of Portugal with his original music. The very positive experience on Got Talent Portugal gave the musician the visibility he had lacked until then. His classical training in fusion with his recent interest and study in the language of jazz, results in a sound that stands out for its difference.
