Jad Wio is a pretty obscure french band, that could be described with terms like cabaret and fetish. The band consists of Denis Bortek doing the lead vocals and Kbye pulling the guitar strings. Denis Bortek is the frontman of Jad Wio and one of the main attractions of the band as he crossdresses on stage like a burlesque singstar. Jad Wio's songtexts are alternately in french or english, but especially the french tends to be tongue-in-cheek and kinky. Most (if not all) of the lyrics are wordplays and puns on almost everything that is prohibited or deviant. Ranging from BDSM ("C'est ça") to phone sex ("3615 mad sex"), including drugs ("marie-jane").
