There are more than two bands with this name:
The argentinian 70's rock band Color Humano was a trio founded at the end of 1971 by Edelmiro Molinari, after the dissolution of Almendra. The name of the band was taken from a theme that Molinari composed for it.The band's first formation was Edelmiro Molinari (guitar and vocals), Rinaldo Rafanelli (bass and backing vocals) and David Lebón (drums and backing vocals). The first recital took place in April 1972, at the Atlantic Theater in Buenos Aires. In November they participated in the BA Rock III Festival (already with Moro) which gave rise to the film Rock until the sun sets, where the band opens the film by playing "Larga vida al sol" and then "Cosas rústicas". In December of that year they recorded their first album at the Phonalex studios, in which Rodolfo García (ex Almendra) and the singer Gabriela (Parodi), who later became Edelmiro's wife, participated.
At the end of 1972, David Lebón left the group to join Pescado Rabioso, and Oscar Moro replaced him. Between March and June 1973 they recorded the second album at Phonalex, which would be double, but the Microfón label released it as two independent albums (Color Humano II and Color Humano III). The last of these albums was delayed until 1974 because it was difficult to get vinyl due to the oil crisis.
The band did not perform live very often, however at the end of 1973 it performed two continuous performances at the Astral theater in Buenos Aires, with a great audience.
A year later the band dissolves due to internal conflicts. Edelmiro emigrated to Los Angeles.
In 1995, the last members of Color Humano (Molinari, Rafanelli and Moro) were tempted to reunite and perform a live performance at The Roxy. The show was recorded and edited at the end of that year.
At a concert by Edelmiro Molinari, Color Humano's return was announced for 2009, along with Rinaldo and drummer Sebastian Peyceré, with the idea of doing shows and recording an album.

Color Humano (1972) Color Humano II (1973) Color Humano III (1974) En The Roxy en vivo (1995)
The spanish latin beat bandThanks to a solid musical basis, Color Humano were able to create their own suitable style. Nervous funky riffs that are relieved by a breaking off harmonica, supported by a powerful, diabolic percussion/ drum/ bassguitar trio, became their brand. Now, if that was all, it would already be quite a lot. But then you wouldnt be taking the bands real power into account: commited lyrics accompanied by a whistling voice that give the band its meaning. Because Color Humano has a soul.
Color Humano is the answer to all the evils of our generation: lack of interest, injustice, rejection, individualism, AIDS… Nevertheless, in times of bands, which limit themselves only to complaints, these six clever guys wake us up, question our beliefs and lay the finger on the open wound. You have to see José, the singer, in action. Noone can evade him. He seeks out the gaze of every single person. He (?), while he explains what is wrong in this oppressing, complicated world. Life can be so short and simple: "Cómete la vida, cómetala!" There are no compromises. Color Humano, the clamp and the sign. Their past is the living proof.
And how they've evolved since the birth of this collective! With members from France and Spain, Color Humano first saw the light of day seven years ago in Paris in a squat. They called themselves Moscowa at first, after the name of the squat. Partly consisting of former members of the Mano Negra, the new-born Color Humano recorded their first album there. Provocative and hot. Two others followed, deliciously electrifying. And their colleagues couldnt be wrong: the pianist joined Dusminguet and Manu Chao/ Radio Bemba invited the drummer to join them. Nowadays, Color Humanos style is more refined and controlled, because a band symbolises a dynamic process. It has to regenerate ceaselessly to stay alive and to enrich the style. The group spent several weeks in the Chiapas to share music and lyrics in the revolutionary forum of an incredibly rich culture. Proof enough that this collective is global, without a fixed geographical location, united by the passion for music and by a generous humanitarian conception.
