i did an interview with ron warren ganderton last year.he is presently working with a new band sam hells blues band he was born in nanaimo he wrote and performed before tv radio and newspapers reporters as well as the mayor of nanaimo gary korpan.his song born in the city has had wide acclaim for orginal lyrics and music ron has been an england londoner for most of his career his hit lp precious as england is still on the collectors hot list,as are guitar star lp and sound ceremony album ron warren ganderton has several singles as well as 3 compilation lps one of which he produced ron has worked with dave wagstaffe of landmarq /oliver wakeman/quasar keith turner of quasar carole boyce of sound ceremony ron warren ganderton produced 3lps and had his own studio celestial sound productions in london england rons band sound ceremony was a fixture in most london england clubs in 80/90s even the famous ronnie scotts sound ceremony has a very energetic fan base ,who regularly play his records on air his music crosses several genre,so has a diverse fan base ron was a music maverick in the early part of his career,as is evident in his way with hot controversal lyrics and variety of instruments ,he manipulates into sound explosion experiments he still is an innovative dynamic word magic man ,with a knack for producing music that has great hooks to get fans listening. semi retirement was not for him,so he has been active in the bc music scene he bought his own hotel pub ,to showcase his talent and as a promoter had many juno award winners on his stage with his appetite for new original music,he promoted and gave a stage to many young bands and a few who are not so young,returning to indusrty .after selling his hotel/pub and his award winning limousine company ron warren ganderton has been writing and designing 2 new cds for release in late 2010 hopefully with several songs now being put to new age video for the utube and sales market.he has a full agenda for the next 5 years look fo new video and cd releases soon
