A Song Is A Naked Person Records, mostly scratchy 45s, received as gifts over the years, with standouts from Karen and Eric in Portland, Matt in New Orleans, and Khaleh Sousan’s Iranian 45 collection. Includes two unreleased tracks from forthcoming Mississippi Records releases, and Michael Hurley to set the mood.

London
16:00 - 18:00

Clandestine record label, The Trilogy Tapes, tear up the NTS studios once a month, ripping through the grittiest and muddiest tracks. No words on this one, just tunes.

Kings Of Tomorrow

Kings Of Tomorrow

Kings Of Tomorrow has been played over 40 times on NTS, first on 7 September 2013. Kings Of Tomorrow's music has been featured on 41 episodes.

For many, Sandy Rivera will be best known for the seminal ‘Finally’, Kings of Tomorrow’s magnum opus and a record that stands as one of the finest vocal house record ever made. Released on Defected Records – a label with which Rivera has enjoyed a staggeringly fruitful relationship over the years – ‘Finally’ still resonated more than a decade later. However, to only know ‘Finally’ is to merely scratch the surface of Rivera’s exemplary catalogue.

In years to come, Sandy Rivera will be looked back on as one of the true greats of the scene; a pioneering artist whose passion for house music is continually realised in the music he creates. For now though he’s still busy creating his legacy: long may he continue.
