The best in Nigerian freebeat from Lagos-based champion of the sound, DJ Tobzy.
After years of underwhelming dance floors and sadness at the disinheritance of blackness from techno and house music especially on the LA scene, we’ve begun a social experiment, coalition, cloud formation; entitled “rave reparations”. The initiative aims to help build relationships between local black DJs, specifically queer / femme / bipoc and house/techno promoters who are largely not of these communities. We also call on support from these lesser marginalized bodies in conscripting venues and fiscal support for parties thrown by the aforementioned groups.

There are at least four bands named Brody:
Brody was a pop punk band from Pennysylvania, active from 1992 to 1999. Its members included Fred Mascherino (former member of Taking Back Sunday), Billy Warburton, Brodie Ruland, Keith Cucuzza, Dan Sagherian, and Bill Loughin. Brody released a 7" EP on Creep Records entitled "Against Forgetting" and a full-length CD entitled "Worth Dying For" on Harvest records. The band was also featured on several compilations, including Blackout! Records' "Punk Rock Jukebox."
Brody is a rising Moroccan Israeli/American singer who bridges the worlds of soul, hip-hop, electronic and world music. His deep spiritual longing balances hard-hitting rhymes as he seamlessly blends hip-hop and Middle-Eastern beats. A hip-hop answer to Idan Raichel’s Israeli pop-world sound, Brody puts an authentically Sabra spin on soulful hip-hop that places him in a world all his own.
Brody is also a still-active Finnish band.
Brody McKeegan is a New York-based artist and producer who releases solo work and collaborations. He is part of the garden avenue music collective. His production credits include Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, midwxst, guardin, convolk, sewerperson, blackwinterwells, Kellin Quinn, and more.
