Music Yared has been played on NTS in shows including Trevor Jackson , featured first on 30 March 2021. Songs played include Sindayo (Mikey Young's Krar Remix) and Sindayo (Mikey Young's Masinko Remix).

Anbessa Gebrehiwot and Haftu Reda are masterful players of krar and masinko, traditional string instruments from Eritrea and Ethiopia. Now based in Melbourne, Australia, the pair collaborate with producer and multi-instrumentalist Dale Gorfinkel to create an innovative sound that celebrates their East African culture - modern takes on folk songs to new original compositions.
