This month’s show features the great Senegalese singer and bandleader, Maxou, focusing on his 1991 album, Ndeupe Li, his 2003 album Kel Ak Djery, and his collaborative album with Lemzo Diamono from 1995.

(1) Trent formed in 2000 and are based in Nottingham, UK. A five piece band, the lineup has changed little over the past 8 years. The original lineup consisted of Nigel Briggs, Rich Bull, Phil Squires, Matt Loose and Ross McDouall. In 2005, Ross left the band and in 2007 Adam Blundy came onboard as full time drummer.

With two successfull albums behind them (Hold On & Unfailing Love), 2008 sees the release of the new EP, Radio Everything, available from www.vineyardrecords.co.uk. More information is available at their official website, www.trentband.com.
