The Meateaters
The Meateaters has been played on NTS in shows including Bodywork w/ Kaili, featured first on 1 October 2021. Songs played include You Were My Sunshine.
Punk-Rock'n'Roll band from Sindelfingen in south Germany. The band was around from 1993 until 1997 and was influenced by Rock'n'Roll of sort NEW YORK DOLLS, HEARTBREAKERS, STOOGES and Glamrock. They released a 10 song demo tape (produced by Axel Kurth from WIZO) and a 7" vinyl split-single with the band SPEEDYS A GO GO. Shortly before their breakup the band was on tour in the USA together with their pals from Boston punk rock band BROKEN TOYS. Guitarist Tex Torpedo and bassist Olli Overkill formed the ROCK'N'ROLL STORMTROOPERS few months after the breakup.
