The Little Unsaid

The Little Unsaid has been played on NTS shows including London Contemporary Orchestra, with Bug In Amber first played on 11 October 2021.

The Little Unsaid is British alt-folk songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist John Elliott (born in Dewsbury on 7 September 1987) along with regular collaborators Alison D’Souza (strings and FX), Mariya Brachkova (Moog bass and backing vocals), Sonny Johns (bass and electric guitar), and Tim Heymerdinger (drums).

Debut album, ‘Someone Else’s Lullabies’ was released in June 2010 on independent label Spare Dougal Records. The album was produced by Sonny, an established music producer who has worked with the likes of Portico Quartet, John Martyn, Ali Farka Toure, Tony Allen and Oumou Sangare.

2013 saw the release of Dig for the Promise.

In September 2015 a crowd-funding campaign was completed using Pledge Music to finance the recording and release of the album Fisher King.

The fourth album, "Imagined Hymns & Chaingang Mantras" was released in April 2017.

In May 2019 The Little Unsaid released their fifth studio album "Atomise" on Reveal Records.

"Lick The Future's Lips" was released in 2021.
