Thyabhorrent has been played on NTS in shows including A Fist in the Face of God presents: Midnite Madness, featured first on 5 January 2022. Songs played include Occultus Brujeria.

Thyabhorrent was previously known as Abhorrent (1989-1991).

Stian Johansen co-founded Helvete with Euronymous and Geir "Thrasher" Bratteli. He even sang and played the bass guitar in Mayhem during some months right after the suicide of Dead. He is also the editor of an underground fanzine called Sepulchral Noise, and the owner of a company called Epoch Productions which produces t-shirts among other things.
