Doormouse is an alias of electronic musician and breakcore producer, live performer and DJ Daniel Martin born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, now living in Miami, Florida. He sometimes appears as Dan Doormouse. He began making music and dj'ing in the 90's. In 1997 he founded Addict Records "to explore different realms of 'experimental electronic' based music". Later he also started Distort as a sublabel of Addict. In 2008, Doormouse gave up music to start a gym.

Doormouse has come back out of retirement in 2021. He's since been, doing shows releasing new music as well as older unreleased music.
