Kept has been played on NTS in shows including Wigs w/ Imogen, featured first on 23 March 2022. Songs played include Affixed Pad.

Kept is a hardworking and upcoming fast melodic punkrock-band from Malmö, Sweden. Heavy influenced by punkmusic, d.i.y-culture and having a good time the band strives for making music with enough energy and melodic tunes to make for a great punkrock-show.

The band was started in late 2008 when Gustav and Oskar joined forces. After trying out several drummers John joined the band and shortly after Erik became the bands bassplayer. In early 2010 they released their debut, the 4-track demo ”Charlie at the Olympics” which was recorded in the bands rehearsal room. Jacob has since then replaced John behind the drums making the bands set-up complete.

The bands second EP “Detours and Sidetracks” was recorded at Studio Bengt by GG Burn (Atlas losing grip). Released in early 2011, the six song EP contains a mix between fast and mid-tempo tunes.

With the new EP released the band is looking forward to an exciting year playing lots of energetic shows, meeting new people and having even more fun.
