Todd Fletcher

Todd Fletcher

Todd Fletcher has been played on NTS in shows including Sounds Of The Dawn, featured first on 26 March 2022. Songs played include White Star.

Todd Fletcher has been making songs since 1983, inspired by the likes of Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno, and others who would rate high on the autistic spectrum. Todd first released his ambient electronic songs on cassettes, then from 1994 to 2005 he self-released 7 CDs, in addition to 1995's Star on Italy's Amplexus, and numerous compilation appearances. In 2006 with the vein of techno-ambience feeling played out, Todd turned to classical piano, spending the next several years learning Bach, Debussy and Ravel, the fruits of which can be seen on YouTube Pressed into service as a bassist for the Arizona nu-grass band The Royal Copper Queen's Low-Down Desert Pickers, Todd launched into the world of strings, picking up guitar along the way. When a Hammond M3 from Goodwill fell in his lap (we're speaking metaphorically here) the post-rock fusion sound for the next Todd Fletcher release was cemented.
