1.) Michael Francis Moore (born April 23, 1954) is an American filmmaker, author and liberal political commentator. He is the director and producer of Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, and Capitalism: A Love Story, four of the top ten highest-grossing documentaries of all time.[3] In September 2008, he released his first free movie on the Internet, Slacker Uprising, documenting his personal crusade to encourage more Americans to vote in presidential elections.[4] He has also written and starred in the TV shows TV Nation and The Awful Truth.

Moore criticizes globalization, large corporations, assault weapon ownership, U.S. Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, the Iraq War, and the American health care system in his written and cinematic works.

2.) Michael Moore is an American multi-reedist heavily involved in the Dutch jazz scene. Before moving abroad, Moore studied with pianist and composer Jaki Byard at the New England Conservatory of Music. Moore has been a member of seminal dutch improv group The ICP Orchestra, where he played alongside such heavyweights in the Dutch scene such as Han Bennink and Misha Mengelberg. He has also collaborated with American jazz musicians such as Fred Hersch and Gerry Hemingway. In 1986, Moore became the second non-Dutchman to receive the Netherlands' top jazz award, the Boy Edgar Prijs. He has led a group called Available Jelly and was a member of the Clusone Trio with cellist Ernst Reijseger and drummer Han Bennink. By 2000, Moore had performed on over 50 recordings for creative music labels Hat-Hut, ICP, BvHaast, and Moore's own label Ramboy.
