Tabletom

Tabletom

Tabletom has been played on NTS in shows including The Cosmic Principle w/ Nick Mitchell Maiato, featured first on 16 November 2022. Songs played include Ininteligible.

Tabletom was formed in 1976 by Roberto González a.k.a. "Rockberto" (vocals) and the Ramírez brothers: Pedro Ramírez, a.k.a. "Perico" (Guitar) and Jose Manuel Ramírez. a.k.a. "Pepillo" (wind instruments). Can be considered the most loved band of their town, Málaga (Spain).

Their music mixes blues, rock, jazz, reagge and funk, with the singing of its genuine (yet not easy to listen to) vocalist. The lyrics talk about local lifestyle with lots of sense of humor and surrealism. Many of them are adaptated from poems of the local poet Juan Miguel González.

Tabletom is very acknowledged among Spanish rock and blues bands and has a very loyal fandom, although they never have had a commercial success.
