Nina Utashiro (歌代ニーナ) is a Japanese-German rapper. She had previously worked under the alias Thirteen13, but began releasing music under her real name in May 2021 with the single ARIA. Almost a year later, she returned with the tracks ÉTUDE and HYMN, in preparation for her debut EP OPERETTA HYSTERIA, released on July 6th 2022.
Nina was born in 1994 and raised in Tokyo until age 16 when her parents divorced. She then moved to New York with her mother, eventually studying at Columbia University and thus returning to Japan age 21. She founded an independent magazine PETRICHOR in 2018 and released her first project under the Thirteen13 monicker, OMNIPRESENT, later that year.
In early 2023, Nina featured on a new version of Queen Bee's song KING BITCH for their album Juuni Jigen. She then released the single Better as part of Amazon Music Japan's HEAT project.
Nina would not release new music until her feature on Culifer's song Sign here in 2025. However, a few months later, she would suddenly announce the release of the song Mood Board, entering her into the beef between fellow Japanese rappers Chanmina and NENE.
