Det Norske Solistkor has been played on NTS in shows including Smerz, featured first on 19 December 2022. Songs played include Catalonian Carol.

Det Norske Solistkor (The Norwegian Soloist Choir) was established in 1950 by the Norwegian Soloists’ Society with the aim of becoming an elite ensemble performing choral music to the highest possible standard. The choir’s first conductor was Knut Nystedt, who led the ensemble for forty years, replaced by Grete Pedersen in 1990.
