Matenda has been played on NTS in shows including Mala Junta, featured first on 20 February 2023. Songs played include You Can Run But You Can't Hide.

Now known as 'Chilling Matenda' - Matenda's style could be called electronic lounge music. Most of his music has a serene feel to it, completely lacking in any harsh or piercing instruments. It mostly has an ambient quality; containing smooth, clean sounds backed by an average of 100bpm (beats per minute).

The album 'Energy Loader' is (as the name suggests) fairly upbeat, being more of a trance album than any of the others - closer to 150bpm.
