Grethe Agatz died at the age of 91 after a long life in music service. Since the 30s she worked with rhythmic nursery rhyme and for several years she stood for children jazz events in the park of Kongens Have (the king's garden) of Copenhagen. Her music has been used for music educational purposes for young children and has been the inspiration for later artists exploring the same field like Lotte Kærså & Græsrødderne
