There are at least two different artists named "D-Rock"

1) (Swedish Hip-Hop) Derek Coote aka D-Rock (his nickname was taken from a quote in the movie "Zoolander"). He makes bay area style hip hop beats on his keyboard. His influences include death metal, adventure metal, graffiti, video games, bay area hip hop, hardcore, & Paul Hardcastle. His music can be heard on the demo of bay area hardcore band Alcatraz, and he was usually seen on the road with Animosity playing beats in between songs.

2) American Rap/Hip-Hop) D-Rock is an american rapper from Detroit, MI. Derrick Bean aka D-Rock -- born in Syracuse, NY -- was raised on the west side of Detroit for the majority of his life since the age of 5. A Detroit player with an east coast flare. D-ROCK is a student of the game who is eager to learn the tricks of the trade. Coming from the school of his favorite emcees (2Pac, The Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Fabolous, Nas, DMX, & Ice Cube), D-ROCK has borrowed various technical skills in order to graduate to a higher level of advanced story-telling and other lyrical abilities, allowing him to craft his own individual style.
