The Rites has been played on NTS shows including Supporter Radio: Heartbreak, with Hour Girl first played on 3 April 2023.

This can refer to three bands.

1) The Rites are a fast hardcore band on Deadalive records. What started out as a project band between members of Tear It Up, Down In Flames, and Cut The Shit, has turned into a vicious and obnoxious monster.

2) The Rites are a psychedelic pop band from the 60s who recorded the obscure single "Hour Girl", which is available on the Fading Yellow Volume 2 compilation.

3) The Rites are a Dingwall based Rock band from the Highlands of Scotland. They have just released a new EP in 2007, named "Long Time Coming".
