Motëm is the Canadian artist known to do beat music, skweee music and really no particular genre of music. He was known as "Slow Hand Motëm" but dropped the "slow hand" part to avoid any confusion with Eric Claption.
His minimal funk is globally renowned with strong followings in Canada, parts of the United States, Europe and Japan. He has recorded over 700 songs which have been released on labels such as Flogsta Danshall, Harmönia, Ramp, Dødpop and especially his own imprint, The Gebbz Steelo Boutique.
He has over 150 music videos on the Gebbz Steelo Youtube channel and is loved my humans and cats from young to old.
His live shows are an extravagant ceremony conducted with either a candelabra or a giant glowing Motëmblem, his own personal emblem. And he plays on either a roland sp-404 or occasionally live instruments.
Albums credited to Motëm include but are not limited to: "Tales from the Cryptid (2010)" , "The Forthcoming Mixtape (2011)", "118STHLMEP (2011)" , "Psychos (2012)", "EMOTIONAL OUTLAW (2012)" , "Weird Boyz Gang Project (2012)" and "The Inside Outsider Mixtape (2013)"
