Herman Kelly & Life were a short-lived funk group who released records on the Miami, Florida based T.K. Disco, Alston, and Electric Cat labels in the late 1970s. Their 1978 song "Dance to the Drummer's Beat" later appeared on the breakbeat compilation "Ultimate Breaks and Beats", and has been sampled numerous times.
