Artificial Joy was the solo project name for rock bassist Robt Ptak, started in 1992 of the band Size 14. After Ptak left Size 14 and moved to New York the band became a full functional live band in 1998 As of 1998 Artificial Joy ( NYC ) featured Milena Mepris Pin Me Down on guitar who would later form Pin Me Down with Russell Lissack of Block Party, Mark Cevellos on Bass and John Lamkin on drums.
