Vext has been played on NTS in shows including Debt & Refuge , featured first on 3 October 2023. Songs played include Transition.

Vext is a 5 piece band from Brooklyn, New York. Vext incorperates several influences of heavy music into their work. Even though they are very much a Drum and Bass band, they have hardcore, metal and urban music sprikled throughout there music. Vext broke up in 2005 due to all memebers having other projects. However, in 2011 the band was relaunched with Tommy Cummings once again the vocalist, but the band now features both Bill Fore and Andrew Jacobs of Mutiny Within on drums and bass respectively, and guitar extraordinaire Angel Vivaldi as lead guitarist. In 2012 they will release the EP "Impermanence"

Tommy Cummings was also the vocalist for Melodic Death Metal band Divine Heresy.
