Broken club, dubbed out sounds, experimental electronics and atonal drifts: Gio’s monthly broadcasts are high contrast assemblages that move at a slow pace.

Bondo

Bondo

Bondo has been played on NTS shows including The Early Bird Show w/ PAM, with Flow My Tears The Police Man Said first played on 8 June 2023.

There are multiple artists named Bondo.

1) Bondo is a slowcore quartet from Los Angeles, California.

2) It was Bondo (not Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys as it is often believed) that wrote Fuck You I'm Drunk.

"Summer of '97, Chicago, a group of friends got together to mess around on a bunch of different instruments, drink some beer & have some fun. We had a ton of fun - especially at shows. 7 months later we recorded a cd called 'Fistful of Biscuits'. The best way to describe us is: 'Like a 5th grade science experiment gone awry - put Johnny Cash, Motorhead, Russ Meyer, Bob Barker & a polka band in a plane then crash it into a brewery'. We are what rises from the wreckage. Our shows are events more so than gigs. Once we rented a schoolbus packed it full of beer, fans & bands and drove to Normal, IL to play a gig with another band from there. Everyone had a blast. We really believe that if it ain't fun . . . it ain't worth doin."
