Well-known as the vocalist of Affinity, Linda is a singer, with a particular style that combines rock, blues, soul and jazz. Her fast musical career, and the fact of play non-commercial music made her be, since now, a very unknown name in the showbusiness.
She played with Affinity from 1968 to 1971. They did a wonderful album in 1970, after the band's name, that had very good critical reviews. A pure representant of the early 70's classic rock, the album is a combination of rock, jazz, soul, and progressive music.
In the end of january-1971, she left the band. Soon after that, she met with keyboardist Karl Jenkins (future Soft Machine member), and they spent some months writing songs. Later, these songs formed the album Pieces of Me, the only solo work of Linda's career.
