Insect O. has been played on NTS in shows including Bradley Zero Presents: Rhythm Section, featured first on 24 January 2024. Songs played include Jacaranda Blossom Street.

Enthusiastic about the radio show "electronics" on East German radiostation DT64 in the early nineties he started to make music at the age of 14 by programming with C64 and Amiga 500. In 1996 he co-founded the club project "Flugzeugwerft" with the typical flair of East German techno parties. He started live performing with Roland TR drummachines and some analogue synthesizers.

In the final days of Flugzeugwerft in 1998 he founded the record label ETUI Records. Right now his sound is changing to a kind of melodic minimal techno not only consisting of simple bleeps and bloops but also emotional soundscapes that bring him and the crowd through the night.
