The Charlie Parkas has been played on NTS in shows including Prosumer, featured first on 13 February 2024. Songs played include Space Invaders.

Having found infamy as the leader of the wonderful Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias, Chris 'C.P.' Lee created Gerry & The Holograms and then the very short-lived The Charlie Parkas for a one-off ska take on the Robin Hood theme tune. The single was issued in December 1979.

C.P. Lee, a rspected British author, broadcaster and lecturer, sadly died in July 2020.
