Golbang has been played on NTS shows including Discostan, with Saghi first played on 7 March 2024.

Golbang was formed in 1994 as a group of people with different cultural backgrounds. The members come from Gambia, Iran, Kurdistan, Turkey and Sweden.

Golbang plays Iranian folk music, Baluchi dance music, and world music with Gambian rythms.
