Cowboy Sadness has been played on NTS in shows including RVNG Intl. Presents Friends & Fiends, featured first on 13 October 2020. Songs played include First Rodeo and Willow.

Cowboy Sadness describes themselves as "new yorks premier jambient supergroup." The group is comprised of individual artists Peter Silberman of The Antlers, David Moore of Bing & Ruth, and Nick Principe a.k.a Port St. Willow.

Via the group's Bandcamp page: "The stylistic signatures of each member - Moore’s heavy, undulating organs, Silberman’s melancholic guitars, & Principe’s galloping, hypnotic drums - form thick textures, cavernous spaces, & deep grooves."

The project debuted on December 1st, 2023 releasing 2 singles First & Second Rodeo and simultaneously announcing that the group's debut full length album "Selected Jambient Works, Vol. 1" would be arriving January 19th, 2024.
