Malicieux Garde

Originally the band consisted of three members Jeff McCall (song writer, vocals) Adam Spector (song writer, synthesizer) and Simon Pollock (song writing assists and synthesizer).

Malicieux Garde was formed in 1983.

The name of the band came from a French/English dictionary and means malitia guard or guard of the malitia.

Across the Wire and New Day were recorded in a studio in Kent. Within days the track had been signed to the 101 International label as part of their ‘Dream Sequence’ compilation album.

Malicieux Garde produce a video of the song Chico in Manchester in 1985. Paul Spector co-writter on many of the earlier tracks made a brief guest appearance on synthesizer to give a balanced appearance to the band.

Malicieux Garde appeared on the Sky television show Star Search before our last performance at Southend-on-Sea, Essex. No new material was recorded by the band after this.
