009 Sound System was a musical project by former musician Alexander "Sandy" Perls, self-described as "self-indulgent and weirdly liturgical electronic-pop".
Alexander Perls' catalog stretches back to 1998, and contains more than twenty top-40 pop hits, in nearly every country in Europe. With a singular self-titled album released in 2009, 009 Sound System was one of Perls' final ventures in music before his retirement from the art form in 2012. He is now an entrepreneur and web developer based in Los Angeles.
