Pak Yan Lau has been played on NTS shows including Simon Parris, with Vernal first played on 24 June 2024.

Studied piano in Belgium and Portugal. Current interests go to free improvisation and sound/noise related music. A love for curious sounding objects, an obsession for toys and a fetish for toypiano’s.

She makes music for dance-theatre productions (‘Gadgetland’ with Lazara Rosell Albear, R.U.T.H. from Marjolein Elsink), shadow theatre (Dala Dala Company), documentary (‘News From Nowhere’ by Christoph Van Collie) and children theatre Tweelicht & Zoon (production ‘SAAI’).

Performed in Japan and Europe and plays/played with musicians such as Paolo Angeli, Lynn Cassiers, João Lobo, Nico Roig, Eric…
