Charlotte North Carolina’s Revel is a unique blend of 2000’s Nu Metal and modern Metalcore. Taking influences from bands like Deftones, Northlane, Chevelle and Linkin Park; Revel creates a sound that is both nostalgic and new. Born from the desire to scratch that reminiscent itch, Revel formed in 2019 composed of vocalist Wes Edwards, drummer/vocalist Marshall Hewitt, guitarist Jeff Long and bassist Jake Forwerck. Bursting out into the scene in June of that year, they released ‘Haunted’ from their upcoming album ‘War Inside’ showcasing their crushing vocals, engaging chorus melodies and heavy instrumental breaks.
