City Preachers has been played on NTS shows including The Windmills of Your Mind w/ Taylor Rowley, with Golden Yesterdays (Nimmermehr) first played on 30 October 2024.

City Preachers was a German alternative folk and folklore band formed in Hamburg in 1965. The band mixed jazz, blues and folklore from around the world. The group was open, meaning that members changed easily with at least 20 members over the period to the early 70s including John O'Brien-Docker, Inga Rumpf and Udo Lindenberg.
