Inko

Inko

Inko has been played on NTS in shows including Mamiko Motto, featured first on 3 October 2012. Songs played include Eyes.

Inko has been looking for his own sound for a while now… since 2003 to be more exact. Taking influences from darker electro, industrial, noise, postpunk, hip-hop, and a strong punk attitude when producing makes Inko hard to place in a box. Emilio tries to not make tracks the way we are used to. His shit migth start with the end and end with the in-between. Residing in Norway since 2002, Inko has been holding it down from time to time with parties he arranges in his spare time from a beautiful son and the A4 work at school. You can find him around Oslo, sending money to his little brother, or sleeping on the 2 train on its way to the Bronx. On a shiny day you might even meet him at Columbous park in the Santo Domingo colonial area, drinking beers and sharing with his crew. Founder of the CassetteNegro label to release some of his own stuff, and is now happy to formally be part of the crew running the beat scene down in Dominican Republic, Stereoptico.
