Screwtape was first played on NTS on 6 February 2025. Songs played include The Dirt.

There are at least three artists represented here.

1.) Screwtape is the harsh noise project of Australia's Andrew McIntosh.

2.) Walter Gross and Bizzart form Screwtape. An experiment in lost and found sound and noises and samples of some of the weirdest and just most obscure shit I've ever heard. But one thing I've learned about Walter Gross and one thing I've trained myself to do, is to listen to the beats and melodies he hears in his head, and when you break down those walls that tell you what you're listening to is just noise, you'll hear it too.

3) 2011 Houston Press Music Award winning Best indie Band SCREWTAPE stands alone in the city of syrup. 1 part HipHop 1 part Indie rock they play both with out compromising either. Fronted by 2 time sxsw showcasing artist Nosaprise on guitar/Keys and vocals along with Matt berry on drums and Juan Carlos Arroyo on bass these Houston natives are creating something truly unique and exciting.
