Village Of Savoonga has been played on NTS shows including Braden Wells, with My Mind Your Mind first played on 14 February 2025.

Village of Savoonga was founded 1991 in Weilheim, Germany by Markus Acher (The Notwist) and Christoph Merk (Kollaps label) with the aim "to record noise". As Wolfgang Petters (Hausmusik label) had a 4 track recorder and cooked for both of them he was quickly accepted as a new band member. Also Micha Acher and Christoph Brandner perform with Villaga of Savoonga.
