It started from the ashes of a band called RwS… Simon (vocals+guitars), Jacob (Drums) and Tobbe (guitars) wanted to keep playing.

They formed Aleister fair and square, Aleister was a name Jacob came up with presenting it to us in a pub with a lot of beer in our bodies it wasn't easy to say no to the suggestion, wich does not meen that weve changed our minds - it is a great name.

Aleister plays METAL, what kind of metal? Is it Power? Heavy? Thrash? Id say we play our own very kind of metal but maybie it can be described as a bit modern heavy metal with influences from all kinds and many thrash-riffs. That enough for you? No? Come to our shows and judge for yourselfs…
