Funkin Matt has been played on NTS in shows including Mamiko Motto, featured first on 4 December 2013. Songs played include Get Loose (Canblaster Remix) and Aeon / Kill V. Main / Di-Li-Do (Acapella) [Grimes Mix].

Funkin’ Matt is an upcoming producer & DJ from Norway. His style can be described as everything with a good groove or beat, often with a creative twist and contrast. He’s most known for his remix for Gregor Salto’s BouncingHarbour, but also for his original tracks like Shake it Don’t Break it & Hit Me. So far his tracks have been featured on compilations by Roger Sanchez/Laidback Luke, and has been played on BBC1 in the UK.

Matt got his first breakthrough in the start of 2007 when he got in touch with Sidney Samson, which started to play his tracks regularly and later signed him to his own label Samsobeats. Since then he’s releasing EP’s regularly on Samsobeats as well as he’s doing remix work for labels like G-Rex and Spinnin. So be sure to notice him, it’s definitely a name for the future.

He's now running the label Fjordin in collaboration with dutch producer/dj Gregor Salto.
