Freak has been played on NTS shows including The NTS Breakfast Show w/ Louise Chen, with Life Goes On first played on 20 February 2025.

FREAK was an indie punk band from Chelmsford, Essex, in the UK. Originally a solo act of musician Connar Ridd, FREAK released two EPs, What Happened? in 2016 and I Like To Smile When I'm Sad in 2017. Jonn Downham and Sam Mumford were added to the project on bass and drums and the band released No Money No Honey Shit Job Not Funny - EP in late 2017.

They have since stopped producing music as FREAK and are now known as Creature Cult, consisting of Ridd and Downham, after a short time known as Sour.
