Centre El Muusa was founded in Tallinn, Estonia in 2015 as an avant-garde electronica duo by Misha Panfilov (guitar, lap steel guitar) and Volodja Brodsky (keyboards, piano), developing into a full-fledged band in 2018, when Monika Erdman (bass) and Aleksei Semenihhin (drums, percussion) joined. Minimalist and full of repetitive patterns yet occasionally coming up with surprising twists, the band conjoins traces of krautrock, psychedelia, country and ambient into an exciting trance. In 2020, they released their self-titled debut album.
