Born Yvonne Stevens, October 8th, 1954 In Chicago, Illinois, Taka Boom is the younger sister of R&B singer Chaka Khan. Taka began her professional career by singing background vocals for various groups, including Parliament. She also sang lead vocals for The Undisputed Truth and the Glass House.
