新しい学校のリーダーズ

新しい学校のリーダーズ has been played on NTS shows including Quest No More w/ Elheist , with Tokyo Calling first played on 28 March 2025.

Atarashii Gakkou no Leaders (新しい学校のリーダーズ) (see also ATARASHII+GAKKO!) translated as New School Leaders or Leaders of a New School are a Japanese four member dance and vocal performance unit. The members are Mizyu, Rin, Suzuka and Kanon.

All members wear traditional school style sailor uniform but each has differing trademark hair styles. Mizyu - twin tails, Rin - single pony tail, Suzuka - short bowl cut with large round glasses and Kanon with long flowy hair. While all members dance and sing, Suzuka and Mizyu share most of the lead vocal duties.

The Leaders earlier music style had a very idol group pop sound which was featured in the song 学校行けやあ゛, a partnership with Koikeya Snacks for their potato chip line.

Their first album, Maenarawanai (『マエナラワナイ』), produced by H ZETT M debuted on March 21, 2018, was a departure from that sound. The album material features a range of genres including Showa-era, Electronic Jazz, Acid Jazz and Jazz Rock.
