A little bit sweet, a little bit sad, a little bit silly - Lupini keeps it (mainly) horizontal with a mix of dubwise sounds, psychedelic rock, synth-pop and new wave.

Sarah Rebecca Krebs is an American singer and composer living in Paris. She was born in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, where she learned to sing gospel hymns, even before she learned to read. At 18 she ran away to San Francisco by way of New York and South Dakota.
After several years as a struggling musician, she came to be known as a fixture of the San Francisco folk music scene, which fell under the spell of the enveloping fragility and deep power of her voice. Accompanied by her guitar, and her inimitable je-ne-sais-quoi, she charmed audiences. She sang with several indie bands, before moving to Paris in 2008.
Submerging herself in the French electronic scene inspired a return to her teenage roots in music which heavily relied on shoe gaze and cold wave. She joined the French electronic group Slove and became known for the hit single « Flash », for which she wrote the lyrics about her favorite subject : a passionate but complicated love. Her new musical partners encouraged her and awakened in her the desire to move towards a more innovative sound for her solo project, S.R. Krebs.
